if no kids, BB or TL better?

My husband and I are going on our first trip to DW w/o the kids. We haven't been to the water parks. Which is more fun for adults? We really like slides/tube rides. Thanks!

I've been to both with friends and husband (no kids) and we just like the theming of Typhoon Lagoon better. It has a Hawaii vibe. Also, the new water coasters there are so much fun!

I agree with the previous post. I like the atmosphere of TL so much more than BB. A laid-back Caribbean kinda vibe. And the new Crush 'n' Gusher is a blast !!! My husband and I actually went airborne at one point! Too much fun! The wave pool is pretty neat, as well.

Can't wait to go back...

BB seems like it was harder on the body. All I remeber from tehre is horriible wedgies. I think I'd go with TL.

ETA - The smilie link issues are kind of fun. It kind of leaves it to your imagination. FYI - It was supposed to be a blushy-face.

I think it depends on what you want. Overall, I think the theming and the wave pool is better at TL and the new ride (Crush Gusher) is reported to be great. BB has more and a larger variety of slides (including two enclosed dark slides which are a kick), so if you're really into the slides, BB is probably a better choice. Personally, I think the coral reef snorkel is way over-rated, but that's just me.

TL seemed more adult, but it is your trip and I am sure you will have a great time at either.

We just went and chose to go to Typhoon Lagoon twice instead of doing TL one day and Blizzard beach the other day. The Lazy river seemed longer. The wave pool is amazing. The crowd gasps whenever a new wave comes. And Crushin Gusher was great. Scary but not too scary so i did it twice even though i screamed a lot each time. Crushin Gusher propels the rafts up as well as down.
