If no FD - Whats good off Property

If there is no FD this winter, I will be skipping POP and stsying off property. I fugure mosst places include breakfast so the rest of the savings will cover food.

Is there any property someone could suggets near WDW that is clean, safe and reasonably priced (ie less than POP). We are just crashing there so no need for fancy ammenities.

I would suggest you also post this on the "Orlando Hotels and Attractions" board here on disboards. There are lots of offsite experts on there that stay and prefer offsite and will have lots of good suggestions.

There are a ton of hotels near to Disney and then a huge amount of house and condo rentals/timeshare/resorts to choose from.

I will say that I did a fair amount of research for this same thing (but we did get fd for our June trip so we stuck with onsite) and the one I chose if we did do offsite was Caribe Cove:

I just loved the look of it, it got good reviews and it had the space we wanted. Its more of a just a condo complex/rental type thing but at times I still wish we were staying there!
