If money were no object what would you do?

I was looking for something different when we went last year and we did the Pirate and Pals cruise it was a lot of fun. My grand daughter was just shy of turning 3 and she had a great time. You meet with Captain Hook and Mr. Smee and they have snacks in the room while you are waiting. Then everyone goes down to the boat for the cruise. You watch from the 7 Seas Lagoon so the music is piped in. It was really a lot of fun and we are looking forward to doing it again.

Switch to GF main building, especially if you can get one of the signature suites! Way better than Contemporary, IMO .

If price was no object, I would do the Grand or some other kind of specialty private dining.

What would I suggest *you* do? Go and have fun without any extra stuff. There is no reason why you need to attempt to make your trip extrasupercalifragimagical. You have not been in a long time and the regular Disney product will be plenty magical enough. There is no need to guild the lily.

I'd stay in the main building at the grand Floridian with a theme park view room.

For your 3 year old- if she's into the princesses, I'd book a princess day at MK. She can get dolled up at the Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique, then lunch at CRT with one of those amazing custom birthday cakes. We saw one last time we were there- it was a gorgeous Rapunzel cake. You can also pay to have the room decorated.

I'm not sure what else to suggest since you can't do the VIP tour or any of the fireworks cruises.

Surprised nobody has mentioned this yet but if "money were truly no object," I'd pull an Oprah and rent out the Magic Kingdom from 5pm to 3am as just a private party for my family, friends and I. I would demand that Anna & Elsa accompany my children on all rides and we'd have BOG all to ourselves for an amazing dinner experience.

A couple weeks at the Contemporary with a park view, club level, biggest room available. Premium dinning, 14 day water park & more hoppers, lots of downtime and maybe some spa time for DW & DD and some golf time for me. I would also do any parties, any tours available for your group and the fireworks cruise.

I would do a fireworks cruise. I am trying to plan one of those for our upcomojg trip in april but IdK if the money will work out.

Fly first class there and back. 9 hours at a time in economy stinks! I would love to arrive at WDW feeling relaxed rather than squashed and grumpy!

Where did you find your information that VIP guides won't take guests with ECVs? That just doesn't sound very Disney-like since they are generally so accomodating of people with disabilities.

When my DD was 3 we did the BBB and then went to Cinderella's castle for dinner. She absolutely loved being dressed up and meeting the princesses.

It's unfortunately on the Disney tours brochure. They also cannot fit strollers so when you get to the parks you have to rent one of the horrible hard strollers. Sigh.

They said the type of vehicles they drive around in won't accommodate transportation of ECV's (and I'm guessing strollers).

Something with Gifts of a Lifetime (.com). They arrange awesome looking surprises that imply that a character is giving your child special treatment. (The character is never actually encountered). It looks amazing!

If money were no object, and VIP is out, then I would create a "mirror family" and book FW campsite(s) for my family with an extra ticket package so that I could advance-book 6FP+ per day. (Of course that means using 2 Magic Bands)

Pretty sure that's only if you take their shuttle. If you meet the plaid in park and don't park hop, you should be fine. I would call.

I would have a special party catered to one of the patios by Rose and Crown for a private Illuminations viewing. I would have snacks, dinner and a decorated cake delivered along with a bartender to make my favorite drink, a cider and black. After Illuminations, I would have a private ride on Soarin' with a tour guide. We did this for a birthday/wedding anniversary and it was spectacular!

I would also take a Disney cruise in a suite at club level.

Hope this is an appropriate place to post this....

If you could plan an experience for your family at Disney and cost was not a factor, what would you do? I want to do something extra magical and memorable as a surprise for my family while at Disney and I haven't been in so long I wouldn't know where to begin. This is also the first time for me going with my DD (turning 3 during our stay).

My traveling party includes me and DH, DD, and my two parents (one will be in an ECV - I mention that as I looked into a VIP tour at MK but they can't accommodate ECV's so that's out!).

Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Looking for things beyond dinners - we already have several good ones booked. Hoping some of your Disney veterans and pros can help me out here. Thanks!!!

Since it's just been my partner and I going to Disney and if money was no object, I would pay to bring my mother and two brothers (15 and 23) along with us. Growing up I always heard about kids going to Disney World but it was just my Mom and I and we were on welfare and never had the money to go. One year my Grandma (from my dad's side) talked about taking me along when they went with my aunts and uncles however it never happened, yet I saw pictures of the that trip and quietly thought to myself "wasn't I supposed to go too?" It wasn't till just recently (20 some years later) that I found out the decision was made not to take me because it was too expensive.

Sure I'd love to stay at a deluxe hotel and book cruises and dessert and viewing parties, and this post is supposed to be about money not being an object, but I really want to take my family to a place I know they could save up for and not spend a huge fortune not make some memory I know they would never be able to relive. I'd want them to have the same awesome experience the 500th time as they did the 1st time. Nothing EXTRA Magical, if they fall in love with Disney World they way I fell in love with it then they don't need to go into debt every time to have that same experience. The one PLUS I would do is go stay at a Moderate, the CBR. My first times at Disney were at Values and they just have the vibe of a cheap motel room to me with a price tag of a big city Hilton.

While I just said I wouldn't do anything EXTRA Magical, I would most likely spring for an In-Room celebration through the Disney Florist since it would be their first time. I probably would also spring for a photo session at http://disneyfineartphotography.com/portraits/ in addition to the Memory Maker.
