If I've already booked a trip what are chances for pin code?

Did I book myself out of getting a pin code? My ex-wife told me she got one and she's not even planning a trip. I booked a trip and tried all the different tips yet haven't recieved anyhing.

*sigh* Six months to go to try for some code.

After I booked our trip last May, I received two pin codes. One was a postcard that arrived in my mail and another was by email, the postcard was for the exact same discount that I had already used and the email was for a lesser deal. You never know what or when or if, you know?

I got a pin a few weeks ago, booked a trip, and about a week after I booked, I got another pin, so it's possible.

I booked our trip last week, did all the trips I read here from Wednesday on and low & behold I got the e-mail with the 20/30/40 pin today. But my trip is for the 2nd week of August, so I think I got it as I have 5 other possible vacation options saved on my Disney account and it's a really slow time I'm guessing. So I called today & was able to upgrade to the CL for only $160 more. If I had just gone with my original booking I would have saved almost $400.

Try creting an account on the WDW web site with a NEW e-mail address. That seems to be working for a lot of people and it worked for me too I got my PIN 3 or 4 days after I created the new account. Create an itinerary that says you will be staying off site becaue Disney properties are too expensive.

I booked our Dec 2010 trip last August, received a pin for 40% deluxe in March, TA applied pin code to our reservation.

Actually the only PIN we ever got was after booking our BB for this year. The PIN was for EXACTLY the same timeframe but worse (we got basic FD for value - PIN was for QSD).

That's for the replies. I just made an account on the WDW board and used my daughters email and my information, saying we're staying offsite. Hopefully this will work.

I booked a trip on a Friday and that Monday I received a pin code! Good luck!

My trip has been booked for over a month. But when I made up my itinerary on Disney's Official Website I checked off that I was staying off-site.

I got a pin code today!

I booked a trip last Friday using an email pincode that I received on Thursday. Today I got another pincode with a better discount by regular mail.

I got a PIN (email) for 30/35/34% off that ran through early June in December. We booked our trip for late May/early June, and since then we've received two more PINS via email for 25/30/40% that run through most of the year.
