BE SURE TO REGISTER FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY GIFT BEFORE YOU GO!!

There were so many people at will call in front of me that didn't bring their coupon and were highly disappointed. I got my birthday fastpass for Hollywood studios on Friday and boy..glad I did! It was star wars weekend and fastpasses were GONE by noon on almost all rides unless you had a birthday fastpass which were good all day even after the fast-pass's were gone. We rode every single attraction at Hollywood studios Friday with no-wait. Just a tip..don't worry about getting fastpass's if its your birthday..do everything else you can do that does NOT require one or has no wait..than later in the day go back..get your pass's while everyone else has a 90 minute wait!

Awesome !
I didn't know this was necessary till I read it on this board :-)
:wizard:Done and printed.

Just a ?: do birthday FPs work the same way regular ones do - single use?
So what do you get - a print out like you usally do or is it a pull off card or something ??

If it is my DD's 5th birthday, will we be able to ride with her or is the pass just for the birthday person? Also, where do I print off the fast pass for her?
Thanks :flower3:

If it is my DD's 5th birthday,
1-will we be able to ride with her or
2-is the pass just for the birthday person? Also,
3-where do I print off the fast pass for her?

1- Yes.
2- You will get FP's for everyone in your party (within reason.)
3- You don't print the "pass."
You pre-register on-line HERE.

You must have multiple-day theme park tickets in-hand in order to choose the birthday FP or Gift Card options.

Your daughter needs show an original birth certificate (in most states, that means a "raised seal" on it)
or a current passport.

You can read the list of Frequently Asked Questions HERE.

I've signed up at the Disney website and never got any email. I know I'm signed up, when I go to the site it has a graphic with my birthday on it. What do I do now???

I have registered but I will want the gift card. Do I need to do anything else?

It is not necessary at all. You can show up with nothing but an ID or birth certificate, you will get in for free. No registration required.

Being pre-registered saves time, though. Less paperwork.

Are you sure all those people were disappointed because they had not pre-registered?

Or did they just not have an original or certified ID or birth certificate (not an ordinary photocopy)?

When I first read this post, I thought you were complaining that it took too long to stand there because guests had not pre-registered.

What do you mean by saying they were "disappointed?"

What did they not receive at the window?

I have an AP so would I need to fill that form out if I would like the gift card? Thanks.

I think the OP is saying that the people were disappointed because they had to stand in line longer due to not having the pre-registration paper printed off from home.

So, I think your original thoughts were correct.....at least thats how I understood it.

The line at Guest Relations works like all the lines in Disney - one common line until you reach the front, then next available CM calls you to their window. The more people who have not registered ahead of time, the longer wait time for everyone. Please do a favor to everyone else and register ahead of time and print your certificate to take with you. Even with the certificate you have to show your photo ID if you're an adult and your park ticket that shows you have a multi-day pass.

The special birthday fast pass is good for up to 6 persons in your party.

My birthday was one of those all day rainy days in May so I ended up opting for the $75 Disney gift card instead since the parks (MK in our case) were barely using FP. We used regular FP for BTMRR & SplashM and had return times of ony about an hour.

Sorry...I should have clarified...JET LAG!!

If you are showing up and you don't have tickets..you will get in for free no bonus gift(that I know of)

If you already have tickets they still want to make you feel even more special than you are ;) Just go to the will call window and get your bonus gift!

You choose between a Birthday Fast Pass card(UPTO 6 IN YOUR PARTY) GOOD FOR THAT PARK ONLY SO NO PARK FAST PASS HOPPER OPTION)
OR
75.00 gift card good at the resort
OR
1 day pass good for anytime that year....This is for those that already bought park tickets etc in a package.

You do need to pre-register and print off your birthday pass for those that HAVE TICKETS ALREADY it prints off a little bar code they scan at the window...if your just showing up and want to get in free you just need your ID etc(see their site fore more details) but yes I was standing in line and many people wanted more than just the get in free but the bonus gifts were just for those that already bought tickets so don't complain!! :)

HAVE A DISNEY DAY!

Does anyone know if you can re-print the registration certificate? I printed one for my son and have misplaced it.
Will it still be in the their computer?
I tried to register again and it said we had already registered his birthday.

I guess what I'm asking is since Disney has it in their computer, would I need to actual printout or will they have what they need?

Thanks guys:flower3:

1-Don't think so.
2-I've read several reports like this. (You'll likely find it, anyway.)
3-Yes.
4-Yup.
5-You won't need it.
6-You're welcome! ;)

Thanks Robo:flower3:

My son was originally going to use the gift card, but with my friends kids going with us I think he has decided to go with the fast pass. (5 in our party) We will decide based on the crowd levels when we get there.

It will be the Saturday after Thanksgiving, so the birthday fast pass will probably be a wonderful thing:thumbsup2
