If I transfer points from another DVC member will I get their 11 month window?

If I transfer points(not rent) from another DVC member will I get their 11 month window to book reservations at their home resort?

You will for the points that are transferred. All points retain their home resort status.

I Received a transfer of Vero Beach points into my VWL account, then made a reservation at VB at 8 1/2 months... which was the week this all transpired. I called MS to make sure the VB points would work for the timeframe that I was wanting to book. All went smoothly.
