If I rent thru Davids - When do I get my room # ?

We are looking to go to WDW next year in early May 2023.
First we thought of the Boardwalk - but on Davids same price as the Bay Lake Tower
BLT allows us to walk to MK and monorail to EPCOT

But when do we know our room number ?
Does Davids DVC rentals e-mail to be a week before ?
Do we go to the DVC check-in counter and get our room number ?

Do we go to the DVC check-in counter and get our room number ? You use the app to do online check in or go to the desk upon arrival. Either way, your room number will be given when the room is ready.

In our experience, room numbers aren't released until your room is ready. So even if we arrive and check-in -- but the room isn't ready -- they won't tell us the room number until the room is ready for us to enter. Usually via text (or we keep checking at the front desk because it's not unusual for the text never to come).

It’s the same as when you stay for cash. You will get your room number the day you arrive when it is ready for you to go in.

Check in for DVC is 4 pm but be aware that it can be delayed sometimes past that.

Our plane would not arrive till 10 PM at MCO - not to worry about early check in
Can they hold our luggage when we depart, I guess at 10 am is check out ?
Our plane does not leave MCO until 5 PM, so we will have from 10 am to 2 pm to use the pool, visit Disney Springs , or ?????

Check out is 11 AM and bell services will hold your luggage while you use the pool or whatever.

David's will give you the info so you can add it to your MyDisneyExperience account. And your experience will be just like if they were your points.

You'll do online check-in, and let them know of your later arrival.

Call Bell Services once you're all packed up on checkout day and they'll come up and get them for you. (tipping is appropriate) Spend the day doing what you want, and when it's time to leave, go to Bell Services and ask for your stuff (tipping is appropriate).

Be sure to have a plan for your wet bathing suits if you swim.
