If I have to go on DUMBO... one more time! lol

We went to Disney back in March and my one year old forced me to go on the Dumbo ride like... 20 times in a row lol My other kids were so bored by it but he thought it was funniest thing EVER! So how do I break my little one, of "dumbo fever"? lol I want him to have a great time but I also want my other kids to do what they want to do as well.

He will be two during our next trip and so at least he will be able to understand direction more. Maybe I am worrying for nothing, who knows. What I do know is that Dumbo is kind of my arch nemesis at this point lol and I hope I can escape his wrath come November

How about just saying NO? say you will go on it twice and then it is time to move on and do what everyone else wants to do. You were able to say no to your other kids, I'm sure they wanted to do other things, so say no to the little one and move on. With a family vacation everyone has to compromise including the youngest.

While I see your point, he was only 16 months old at the time. It was hard to say NO to such cuteness when there was so little he could actually do there.
I talked to my husband about this and we came up with a solution. We are bringing grandma. She can be in charge of the little one a few hours in the afternoon each day and they can ride Dumbo 85 times. lol She will be more than happy to do it <3

Hooray for Grandma! I LOVE when my parents come to Disney with us! Big Thunder Mtn RR is DS6's FAVORITE since he was 3. My dad somehow has the patience to take him on it over and over and over so the rest of us can do some other stuff.

My mom will happily wait for hours in the character lines with DD so that is fantastic as well!
