If you had a miliion dollars what would you do with it?

IIHM$

I would

Buy a Laborghini Spider
Buy new parts for the car
Spend 3000 dollars on ebay to buy stuff for the Virtual Magic Kingdom
10,000 on trips to disney
Buy a plasma
An airsoft rifle
100 dollars on gum

Then save the rest lol

After with new cars for dd, dh, and my mom and gifts of money to family members, I'd put most of it in investments and savings but I'd also pull out $20k or so and take my entire extended family to WDW. :teeth: That's my big splurge. It'd be about 15 people and I know we'd have a blast.

Purchase a 67 VW Beetle and pay to have it restored by a car shop I know that does EXCELLENT restoration work. :drive:

Trip to WDW, with a KTTK tour and I would stay at the S/D. pixiedust:

Put a chunk of it away for DS's college education. :cloud9:

Other than that, I'm not sure.

Pay off my house and sell it cheap to a family who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford a home. Then, buy 100 acres of land and build the exact same house on it....I love my house. :goodvibes

Pay off my cars and donate them. Then, buy 2 new cars - you know, a Honda Pilot for me and a Dodge Dakota for DH, cuz we're classy. :thumbsup2

Buy my parents a new house....my mother thinks this house is bad luck because bad things have been happening since they moved into it 2.5 years ago.

I don't think I'd have anything left after that. :guilty: But, at least I wouldn't have a house payment or a car payment. :teeth:

Give a large donation to the Kidney Foundation in my mom's memory and to the ASPCA
Buy a LARGE beach house in Maine for my whole family
Pay for my nieces' education

Go to disney
Go to Tahiti
Rent out splash mountian fr me and my friends and family
Bills

First I'd pay off our mortgage, then I'd buy my mother a new house. Then I'd set aside more money for our son's education. After that it would be my whole family (brothers, in-laws, etc.) to Disney World, first class all the way and suites for everyone!

Whatever is left over goes into trusts for retirement.

I would be planning a FABULOUS Disney Fairytale Wedding for January instead of the extremely budget conscious (but still fabulous) wedding we are currently planning! pixiedust:

I'd buy a house near WDW, help family and friends and pay off our houses. A Ferrari would be nice, but 1 mil actually doesn't go too far.

Oh fun!

I would in no particular order:

* Pay off my bills, including my house

* Restore my century old (built in 1887) barn to original.

* Open a snowmobile shop, which is my husband's dream

* Buy my Dad the motorhome of his dreams

* Build my Mom the sunroom she's wanted for over 30 years

* INVEST!!!!!!!!!!

I had a friend who told me once, when the lottery was up to like 100 million dollars, "If I win the lottery tonight, I'm buying new carpeting for my trailer." :rotfl: Seriously? I told her, THINK BIGGER, WOMAN! You can buy a fancy house with all new carpeting throughout.

I'd go to college, I'd create college and trust funds for my niece and nephew. I'd buy enough property for my sister and I to build houses on together ~ but it has to be enough property that we can't see each other's houses and can have total privacy...and a lake...and a boat with jet ski's...and a sandy beach...and we'll have fireworks over the lake on the Fourth of July...and you're all invited!!

I get a little carried away when I daydream...sorry! :rolleyes1

Mmmmmm and those little tiny prewrapped sausages. They have prewrapped sausages but they don't have prewrapped bacon.

Pay off my car, buy a house in celebration, pay off my parents house, buy new electronics and various fashions, get a part-time job at Disneyworld. And go to Community college part-time. Put the rest in savings.

After taxes were deducted, I'd blow the rest on a Quarter Pounder from Mickey D's.
