If I cancel VB Thanksgiving trip, where will points go?

Refresh my memory please.

We are thinking about not heading over to VB for Thanksgiving. All of the CM's kept saying it would be packed and we would have to fight for a chair around the pool.

I'm not sure I want to put up with that.

If I call MS on Monday, will the points go into holding or will I just be able to reschedule for another night?

They will go into holding which will allow you to reschedule for another night, but the call to make the reservation has to be within 60 days of when you want the reservation for. So yes if you wanted to use the points for the week after Thanksgiving (pending availability) and no for February.

Good luck with your decision. Maybe you should check availabity before canceling?

I think they go directly into my account.

The holding account points also expire at the end of this Use Year and can't be banked or borrowed.
