If I cancel my package reservation, will my Dining Plan Reservations be cancelled?

We've decided to move to a house offsite since we have a 16 month old who will need his own room. By time we rent two rooms, it's way cheaper to stay off.

I've made several dining reservations - will those be cancelled when I cancel my package? I know they asked for my reservation # when I made them.

ETA - obviously I wont' be on the dining plan anymore, but I will still want to dine at most of the same places I've made reservations for.

No, those are totally separate...you'd have to call the Dining # to cancel them so just cancelling your "package" won't affect your ADR's so you're safe. Have a great trip!

I thought if you canceled your package that your ADR's would also be canceled. The reason i believe this to be true is if you have a package with ADR's and you do not pay the hotel package within 45 days of your visit, your room reservation, along with your ADR's, would be canceled.

Can someone else clear this up for the OP and me?

I had to cancel our August trip and I asked the CM if my dining ressies would automatically be cancelled (I had actually hoped the answer would be yes, to save me some time) and she said, no - I would have to call Disney Dining and do it myself.
