If I buy tickets online question

Hi, we're doing a quick 3 day trip early in March. I'm 99% sure I'll be purchasing our tickets online (buy 2 days, get 1 day free) and I'm considering the meal deal for one day. If I buy the tickets and the meal deal pass online, how do I redeem them? Is everything done at the front gate ticket counter including the meal deal wristband? Do I need to bring ID for each person? The kids have passports but I don't want to bring them if it's not necessary (one is 9 and one is 10).

It's funny, I completely know how to 'do' WDW but Universal seems like a whole different ball game. Thanks!

when you buy tickets online you can do the 'print at home' for the tickets.
or
you can pick them up at the kiosk outside the park entrance.
if you use the kiosk, bring the cc you charged on, and the confirmation number of your ticket order.

you would pick up the bracelet for the meal deal at the park.
guest services but bring the print out of that meal deal purchase.

id's are not needed for children.

i suggest you wait until you have checked out the meal deal restaurants' menus before you buy them.
www.universalorlando.com is where you can find that info.

also, read thru the first sticky that is at the top of this forum.
it's about menus and the foods that are in the parks.

why don't you wait until you are in the park to decide about buying the meal deal.
it does not begin until about 11:00 (no breakfast is included in this promo) and it terminates 30 minutes prior to park closing.

you might find other places that you would enjoy more than the 6 places/3 per park, that is offered.

beverages are not included in the meal deal.
that is a separate promo charge.

Thanks! I'm not sure I want to carry a printed out ticket from home so we'll probably use the kiosk. I'm guessing it's a bit smaller. :goodvibes

The normal sized tickets are the size of a credit card so they are easy to carry and since they are made of Tyvek material, they are very durable.
