If I buy a one day pass can I book 2 nights in a DLP hotel?

Hi,

We're arriving late on 2 Jan and plan on buying a one day pass for 3 Jan and then leaving early on the 4th to go to London.

From the DLP website I can only seem to find package deals for 2 nights and 3 days. I really only want a one day pass.

We won't have a car - I'm fine staying in DLP or at a hotel nearby. I'm trying to keep it as inexpensive as possible.

Any hotel suggestions? Is it possible to book a DLP hotel without a package?

i think you can only book room only if you have an annual pass. if you ring them you should be able to book one night only. more often than not its cheaper to just book the package rather than try get room only and a ticket.

there are also many hotels around dlp that you could book room only with through expedia

Book room only through Expedia and buy a ticket at the gates.

The Cheyenne and Santa Fe will be around £70 a night.

We can buy a one day pass from the DLP site.

If its an Early Magic Hour day will that combination of pass and hotel let us go in early?

If not other hotels like Kyraid are a lot less

The hotel fees for the Santa Fe with Expedia are local taxes - which I was not charged for last year at all when I booked room only at the Santa Fe through Expedia. They amount to no more than a couple of euros per night.

Yes, with any valid park ticket, and your onsite hotel easypass (you get this at reception when you check in) you will be able to go into the park for EMH .

Are your dates set in stone? The hotels drop in price dramatically the following week (£50 for Santa Fe)

Yes - the dates are pretty set. If you look at it the other way the cost is even higher the night before for New Years.

Yes you can, as long as you have your resort easypass (which should be given to you at check in).

Okay so just to be sure I have this right -

I can book one night at a DLP hotel (Santa Fe) and then buy a one day one park pass online.

If there is an Early Magic Hour opening I'll be able to go with my pass and proof that I stayed the night before at the DLP hotel

The plan is to arrive on Sunday, spend the night. Check out the following day and spend the day in the park
