and we leave the park, will we be able to come back in if we have seating at Fantasmic from a dining package earlier in the day? I know it is unlikely that the entire park will close, but we're going the second day of TSL opening so I just want to be sure.

I would imagine yes. Only a Phase 4 closure would disallow all guests from entering. Those with existing reservations, FastPasses, etc. are among the last to be turned away for capacity. If you are WDW resort guests you can still get in at Phase 3 as well. I wouldn't worry about it too much as it is extremely unlikely to happen.

Thank you - we will be WDW guests. I am on the fence about the reservation - have read so many bad things about H&V, so we are really only eating there for the Fantasmic preferred seating. I think we'll stick with it!

I think Brian's right. This may be different when the whole Star Wars area opens.

Do you dislike Mama Melrose? I'd pick it over H&V if you are only going for F! tickets

We booked this trip about two months in advance and Mama Melrose was not available, so I chose H&V. We are on the dining plan and I didn't feel like HBD was worth two credits, so H&V it is. I could keep checking for MM but I have celiac and often find that Italian restaurants are not my best choice.
