I'm already going in May (see my countdown) and December. IF there's free dining offered, I plan on trying to sneak away for at least a few days to enjoy it!

We've already booked a free dining bounceback for late September. I'm super excited because it coincides with the Food and Wine Festival.popcorn:: popcorn::

Us too--we got the bounceback. We usually go the first week of September but, due to DH's trade show this year, we had to change our dates to September 20 - 29, so we get to go to F&W for the first time ever.

I voted no on the poll, but I wanted to comment.
I will use any excuse for a trip to WDW. Free dining would actually be an incentive to NOT go at that time, because it would make it more difficult to make ADRs. We do NOT do the dining plan, because the amount of food is too much for us. I would much rather have a discount on the room. I actually prefer a room only discount so I dont have to do a package and pay for it so early. I prefer to buy the discounted tickets at AAA and put the room on the CC at check in. I couldnt resist the 4/3 package this year. It would take a similar discount to get me to do a package again, and free dining is just not the incentive for me.
Now give me a good room discount and Im trying to talk DW into a trip. The main focus is the parks, but we do enjoy good meals as well. We are trying several resort restaurants for the first time this trip. I would be sad to lose my ADRs to the free dining crowds. I refuse to let eating take priority over the parks.

We're going to try to go in October. Free dining alone wouldn't be enough to get me to switch to September. I really prefer October. However, if they were to offer free dining plus a gift card -- I don't think they will, but IF they did -- I'd be willing to go in September.

I have a total of 9 trips to WDW planned, none of them on the dining plan, free or not.

WDW has never offered any additional incentive along with free dining. Whether they will do so this year or not, nobody knows yet - but it doesn't seem likely as none of the bounceback or PIN offers did.

Count us in for bounceback in Sept.!!!! Although things are a little tight for us,we need to take a vacation ,and what better way to vacation than with free eats! We will continue to bounce back as long as they let us,as long as we're working.:thumbsup2

Yes I'm waiting on them to announce so I can be 'officially' going...**twiddles thumbs** :surfweb:

I am booked through bounceback like many others...... 9/18-10/2.

We would go during this time regardless of FD but it definitely confirmed our trip. As long as we have income, we'll be going to WDW every year in September.

We are disney visa card holders. We dont get pin numbers or announcements. How do I get those??

There's no coorelation on pin numbers.

IMHO it actually HURTS to be a loyal customer.

I have been going to Disney for years and never gotten one. But that's OK.... I am pretty much over Disney pricing and the offsite hotels have better deals and A REAL loyalty program.... Not a "if we like you we might send you a deal on our overpriced rooms":lmao:

not this year. it's gotten too crowded for me that time of year. we did it 3 years in a row, the last being 2007. plus the heat in september makes me a little cranky sometimes. we did luck out and get free dining with our november trip last year. what a pleasant surprise that was! it'll be may this year! can't wait. :goodvibes

So, not every Disney card holder gets the pin codes for free dining? What about the bounceback discounts?

PIN codes are distributed randomly and not exclusively to Disney Visa cardholders. They are also not distributed to ALL Visa cardholders. Last November/December there was an offer extended to all Disney Visa cardholders, not a random PIN. Bounceback bookings are open to anyone who books during the promotion period while staying at a WDW resort. You must book a bounceback while you are still staying at WDW.

If free dining were to be offered through October, I'd so be there! But I think it's only through September, so we probably won't be able to take advantage of the offer.
