If Forbidden Journey is closed, can we still go into Hogwarts?

I just found out that Forbidden Journey will be closed during my upcoming trip. The ride ate me last time, so I had planned to just enjoy the queue theming and bolt out the scaredy-cat exit. Does anyone know if that can still happen?

I’ve never heard of a situation where you can still go through a queue if the ride is closed. Would be a pain for the employees to have to explain to everyone that yes you can go through the queue but no you’re not going to ride.
