If DVC resorts opened with no parks, would you go

Also probably drive over and spend a few nights at Panama City Beach where we like to stay
Never been there, but always looking for a new place to enjoy. Where's a good place to stay and eat. We like to go to Marco Island and Naples.

Cancell our april/may trip. Our next is for late Oct/Nov. and would go if resort is fully open and at least some of the parks. I believe its possible parks could open by Oct but i do think it could be limited number off people in parks and resturants. New normal will be big change.

We would go with just resorts being opened. We cancelled just before Disney did, so I have over 200 points in holding.

Our go to area now is Carillion Beach. It is a little farther east than the Developments on 30A along Santa Rosa Beach but it’s more serene with many beach walkovers so access to the beach is easier than Rosemary Beach, Seaside, Watercolor, Grayton Beach if you’re rental isn’t directly on the beach. There are multiple pools and a lake in Carillion and houses of all sizes to rent, stay away from the condos. We have eaten at many places along 30 A, most upscale was Cafe Thirty-A (when we went they offered BOGO entree from 6-7 pm), Stinky’s Fish Camp for oysters and crayfish in season, the Red Bar serves food and offers live music. We like picking up fresh shrimp or gulf fish at Goat Feathers seafood market and cooking in the rental. We wanted to go last month but obviously that didn’t happen.

No I would not go until the health experts give the "all clear" that either the virus has waned in number of new infections or a vaccine has been approved.

I already said I would go but did some thinking and I would like to add that it would be really great if the new Skyliner was open. They could limit the occupants of each cab (not sure what the official name is for each unit) to your immediate party. It would make for good transportation option to RIV from Epcot area and vis versa for dinning options assuming they would be open. Just a thought to make the no park situation better.

I think if there's no amenities open then no we'd cancel. If pools, restaurants & DS are open maybe - depends on restrictions in place. If it's a matter of losing the points then more likely yes we'd go but I really don't want to go if I have to wear a mask outside of the room. And I'm not sure if I'm going to really trust the room sanitizing between guests yet. If the points were still bankable into next year then we'd probably bank them and wait. At this point we've already banked some points (unusual for us to not be borrowing) so we're going to have more points to use next year than usual. We'd likely save them & plan a big blowout kind of trip. Splurge on more than a studio or plan for Aulani or something. We have to decide about our Oct trip by our July 31st banking window. So guess we'll evaluate how things are looking then. That's only 3 months so it may not be enough time to fully judge how it's looking. We already have flights booked on SW that will need to be used by next March 12th tho so there's that to consider as well....

YES I would go.

I have a reservation at OKW for the end of June. I specifically picked OKW because of its size and walking distance to DS.

I am a Floridian and would rather take the drive up to Orlando for a couple of days of new scenery than having the possibility of losing my points.

We own at BLT and VCG. I definitely wouldn't go to Florida without the parks, but I might do Disneyland. It's close enough to other things to do in Southern California, and if Downtown Disney was open, I could see it.
