If DCL does Alaska

We have pictures of DD's on the verandah in their spahetti strap pajamas at dusk, which during the summer is quite late. They were fine.
It actually was very comfortable summer '06 when we were there. We brought coats but only needed jackets unless we were very high up or on a glacier.
I have said this before, but coming from 105 in Dallas to the 60's was heaven!
Alaska is very, very beautiful!

Thank you for clearing up the weather issue, Mason7AK. It's hard for people to shake this image of the North being a frozen wasteland all year round.

If anyone gets the chance to take a cruise to Alaska, I recommend going for it without even hesitating.
