Hi

Can someone tell me what happens if Disney cancel my cruise

I though I herd someone say it would be a 125% cruise credit voucher that needs used within 15 months

If I'm happy to accept that, would disney extend that at all if needed as my wife would be over 26 week she pregnant and a baby is not aloud under 6 months so we wouldn't have much a choice to pick from

Plus we already have next years holidays booked so how would that work

Right now it has been 125% to be used on a single cruise within 15 months, but that is of course subject to change.

Disney have not been willing to make extension exceptions. They appear to be avoiding their use next Opening Day.

That doesn't seem fair though if we have a baby and the baby can't travel because it's to young

If they provide an exception, that is not fair to all the other people they did not provide an exception to. The 125% is partly to make up for not having opening day pricing. If they let a few people have 125% and move it to opening day, that becomes a different fairness issue.

You can switch it to the cruise you have booked already, that's my plan.

Good Luck!

Yes but there is 3 months she would not be aloud on the ship as she would be to far gone and 6 months the baby would not be aloud on

They should be giving us a chance to use it

I think I'll give them a call, don't mind providing proof as well

The current offer for canceled cruises is a future credit of 125% to be used within 15 months OR a 100% refund. DCL does not appear to be making exceptions to the time period. If the 15-month window doesn't work for you, as is the case for many posters, you can receive a full refund.

Enjoy your cruise!

I don't believe you can apply the 125% credit to an already-booked cruise, unless you cancel the reservation you already have. That may work well if the fare hasn't increased much.

Enjoy your cruise!

If you're currently pregnant, the latest the baby will be born is November, which will mean the baby can travel in May. You'll have 2 months you can travel in, I don't understand the issue

Leave the baby at home and enjoy an adult only cruise or take the refund

Unfortunately we don't have someone that could look after a baby for over a week and wouldn't want to leave a baby a matter of weeks old anyway

The issue is 2 months is not a wide enough range for us, as we have busy times at work and other holidays planned. That's the issue

Yes, I am going to cancel and rebook, that extra 25% helps for what we will lose to airlines.

If you can't cruise during that 2 month time frame, then take the refund. That's why Disney is giving the 2 options, 15 months to choose for those who can cruise again, refund for those who can't. Call if you want, just be prepared that you may be on hold for many, many hours. Congrats to you and your wife on her pregnancy.

Think I'll need to do that. What happens if I get the 125% credit but then need to cancel that.

yes, so the issue is your agenda and not the baby

Not completely because if I did have the full 15 months to pick from if would not be a issue anyway but the pregnancy takes a lot of that time away. And a choice of two months is not suitable, not to mention the cruise we may want to do may not be during that two months. So it's a bit of everything but I'll see what dcl say 😃
