If Belle married Gaston LeGume and became Madame LeGume AU thread. Imagine if Belle married Gaston (in the cartoon cottage scene) instead of the prince/beast. What would Belle have named her 7 kids? What would their careers be in modern times? How long do you think their marriage would have lasted? What do you think Belle would have put in the prenuptial agreement? I just thought this would be a fun AU thread. Curious to see your responses.

Yeah, I’ve read the happy changed Gaston stories. I avoid the abusive stories. Thanks for the comment though. Do you have a thought on what they would call their kids? When I made the thread I was picturing Gaston without his most appalling qualities. I also just went with LeGume since that’s what Disney named him. We never got a last name for Belle so…

Gaston would be abusive and controlling of Belle until she either kills him or leaves with the kids. Gaston becomes a depressed drunk and ends up in jail (assuming he's not dead)
