Should I wait to cancel my old ressie until I receive confirmation on my new ressie? I thought about just having my current one changed to AP discounted, assuming they come, but sometimes they don't send out new comfirmations on existing ressie #. I then would have no proof that I was to pay less that original paperwork states. Any thoughts on this?

What kind of reservation do you currently have? If it's a package, they will have to do a new reservation. If it's room only, they maybe able to apply the discount to your current reservation, not having to cancel it.

It is a room only, but when I applied AAA discount to it after the fact, I never received a new confirmation sheet with the AAA discount on it. That is why I'm leary of applying an AP discount to the existing ressie, afraid I won't have any written proof of the AP rate at check in. That can add up to quite a big price difference if there is a mistake made, and lets face it, if they have a lot of new CM's, mistakes can happen. It would be a lot easier to just adjust my current ressie, but like I said, I'm feeling a bit uncomfortable with this.

I applied a AAA rate to my ressie for PC and they sent me another confirmation. I originally booked in March and added AAA in September. Another year I paid in installments each time I had 50 extra bucks I sent it and they sent a statement back with a new tearoff portion to send them some some. So tend them a check for 20.00 if after you call and they dont send a new statement.
