If anybody cancels their early dinner ADR's for LTT on 9/28 would love to snag them!! We're going to MNSSHP that night and I've been trying quite unsuccessfully to get early dinner reservations and the place is booked solid, and has been every time I call! We would looove to eat here before the party so if anyone does cancel could you please, please let me know?! Thanks for reading my shameless plea for this ADR! :goodvibes

We are going the exact same time as you, plus we are going to MNSSHP the same night. We also could not get LTT so I had to settle for Kona, we will ride the monorail over and back.

Did you all try yesterday or today? I think they released a bunch of times for the party yesterday. Sorry if this advice is unneccessary.

I had to settle for 2 tables of 2--maybe I will go on the 30th instead!! People have been saying that Friday night the end of September tends to be the busiest (I agree if they are talking about LTT for 9/28)

I tried earlier today again and still booked solid :( I wish I would have known that they released a bunch of times yesterday! Oh well, maybe we'll have to start planning something else instead...:)

I'm glad that you were able to get a seating! I would have been happy with two tables....there's 4 adults, 1 child, and 1 infant in our party. I wonder why Friday night at the end of September is the busiest? :confused3 I know it's free dining in Sept, but I would think the October parties would be more crowded, especially Columbus day weekend and around Halloween. I hope the Sept 28 party isn't packed that night, but this is the only party we can attend.

Yesterday, at 7am, we cancelled a table for 3 at LTT on September 28 at 4:30pm.

Maybe it was snatched up already.

OT: Oh, not only are we going at the same time but we're both staying at Pop Century! Have you checked out the thread for the end of Sept poppers? They're planning a little meet and greet on Sept 22 at the pool, you should check it out! I keep reading that Kona is really good....I just thought the kids would love seeing the characters dressed up before MNSSHP! I'm hoping for a little pixie dust to come my way and still am holding out hope for a cancellation. :goodvibes Otherwise, maybe we'll just do counter service that night before the party.

I guarantee you later times are available.

Some CMs don't know that for LTT and Tony's they have to look on a different 'special events' screen on their computer to be able to book the later times.

Both restaurants are open till 9:30p so if you tell them you know that LTT is open during the parties and "how could it possibly be booked up already", maybe they'll find the special events screen or ask a supervisor for help. Then all of the sudden more times will be available.

It happened last year as well.

Keep trying.

Thanks for your reply. I'm sure someone got it already :) I tried earlier today for LTT and they said they had nothing, but I'll keep trying. It can't hurt right? :goodvibes

Thanks beattyfamily for replying to my posts! Unfortunately, I do want an earlier time before 7 pm because I don't want to be eating dinner when the party is going on, especially not for $48.94 a person ;) So, maybe that's why I'm running into so many problems because I want an earlier time? I'll keep trying though and thanks for the heads up earlier on the other thread!

I realize that but when they find that drop down menu for special events it will also have some earlier times like from 6:00p on...

They hold some back for party guests. You just have to get a CM who knows how to find the 'special event' times for LTT.

The exact same thing happened to me when I wanted a 5:30p ADR at LTT last year. I got a CM who figured it out and then boom, he had several times for me.

Don't give up. Yes, the earlier times from 3:30p to maybe 5:00p are probably booked but there are more times.

Good luck.

I just called WDWDINE again and asked about ressies for Sept 28 at LTT and she said they are completely booked. I asked if she could check the special events page and she said that was what she was looking at and that all times, even later times are booked. :headache: So, I guess this is not typical :confused3 that they would be completely booked up for the whole night? If this is any clue as to how busy the party is going to be, I think we're in trouble :rotfl: Ah well, my saga continues ;) But, thanks again for your help!!!

That's too bad. This happens every year; some CMs just don't know. Yes, it does fill up fast but not this fast. She doesn't realize that it's open till 9:30p and that there's another way to see those times.

Oh well.

Just be prepared for it to be packed that evening - that is the first weekend of The Food and Wine Fest - we did the last weekend in Sept last year and the MNSSHP we went to was sold out that friday evening.

beattyfamily you were right!!! :worship: I just needed to get the right person on the phone! :dance3: We got our ressies for LTT on Sept 28 before mnsshp at 5:50pm for a party of 6 (a little later than I would have liked but we'll take it)!   :yay: :yay:
I had my dh call WDWDINE AGAIN and he finally got a CM who knew where to look/what to look for and we Finally got what we wanted! CM did say they have tables after 6pm specifically for people who have tickets for the party but we were able to get a slightly earlier time for just regular dining time. WOOHOO! One less thing to worry about. Thanks everyone!!:thumbsup2
Can you tell I'm just a wee bit happy? :cutie:

I'm so glad for you!! :woohoo:

Finally!

Just get there at least 20 minutes early so hopefully you'll be seated on time and you should be done eating just before 7:00p.

Congrats!

Isn't it crazy-all the rigamorole(sp?) you have to go through to get an ADR? How do people who don't frequent the Dis ever survive at WDW? I am glad it finally worked for you and you got your ADR for LTT.:cool1: I can't wait to eat there myself and to see everyone in their MNSSHP gear.

OK- So confused now, what is better to go to the party on the 28th or the 30?? I got ADR"s for the 28th for 2 table for 4:10---isn't that better than later, because the party will be just starting when we are finishing dinner??? Help!!

yrdlyprincess-I think your ADR time for 4:10 is great! You'll probably be done eating by 5:45 at the latest (it sounds like dinner at LTT takes 1 hour to 1hr 15 minutes or so, based on what I've been reading) and you'll have plenty of time BEFORE the party starts to do whatever you like since the party doesn't start until 7:00pm. Our ADR's are a little later so just as we're done eating the party should be starting. I would have liked mine a little earlier just so I wasn't worried about hurrying up and eating so we don't miss any of the party! :) Don't know which party would be better though as far as the 28 or the 30th? :confused3 Hope that helps. I'm sure someone else will chime in also!
