If a member of the party doesn't use a FP. . .

We leave in a week, and it's our second trip using FP+, but our first trip having my parents along while using FP+. My parents generally don't do roller coasters. I scheduled us all the same FPs b/c they really don't want to split up from us and do other rides while we are on coasters-- they would rather find a bench a chill out. Here's my question: If they don't go on the third FP of the day with us, we won't all be able to get a 4th FP as soon as we're done, will we? Should they just make sure that they stand in line with us for the third FP of the day and then use the chicken exit so that we'll all be eligible for a 4th FP as the same time? Is there a way to do this without them having to stand in line with us? Also, will this affect the first and second FPs of the day, too, or will those be OK since the windows never overlap?

Why not just have 2 of you go back through again with their bands?

I would have them scan their bands or have two people in your party ride twice for the third fastpass, if you're hoping to get additional fastpasses.

Didn't even think about riding twice!! That's what we always used to do with the old FPs! That should work perfectly! Thanks.

My grandmother is 83 and doesn't ride coasters either. My mom isn't a big fan of them either (aside from 7DMT) so they find a spot to sit while myself, daughter, and aunt ride. My daughter and I then take my grandmother's and mom's bands and ride again. It works out perfectly!
