if 3yo isn't eating, do they still charge us her credit on free dining plan?

ok - we have a little one that on occasion does not want to eat much/if anything.

if we all have free dining and we are all at a restaurant together and she does not want to eat or just wants to pick (from our plates - a fry here or 3 pieces of a fruit salad) from our plates - do they still charge us for her dining credit?

understandably if she orders even a kiddy meal - we will have that credit charged, but i am wondering if we will be charged for her even if she eats nothing or just pics lightly from one of us? (2 adults and one 11YO)

If you are at a buffet, or an all-you-care-to-eat family style service, I dont know. Maybe this is left up to the servers discretion of what she really did eat. At a restaurant where you order from a menu, they certainly cant charge you for what you didnt order

If she does not order a meal, you will not be charged a credit.

You may order her a drink, just make sure it is on a seprate bill(cash), and since there will be 3 apps and desserts there will be plenty of food to share with her.

If you eat at a buffet or all you care to eat type place, you will be charged a credit, even if she just picks. If you don't order her own meal at regular restaurants, no.

We were charged at buffets and at family style all-you-care-to-eat meals for our dd even if she only ate a roll. With the free dining, at least it won't cost you anything. We were paying cash. We didn't argue...it would have been silly, since we booked the meals knowing she really doesn't eat.

For regular restaurants (where you order specific meals), if you don't order her a meal, they don't use a credit. As a pp said, make sure to get the beverage on a separate bill.
