Hey everyone, I am new to the board. I have a question about Pleasure Island, which I also posted in the General Trip Discussion. 1st, I just want to say that I am not endorsing anything illegal, like underage drinking, smoking, drugs, etc. 2ndly, I hope that this does not start a heated debate or get anyone in trouble, I am just genuinely asking for advice. I am going to Disney in May for my Graduation present with my 3 best friends. I will be 18 in the summer, with 1 of the other girls. The 2 remaining girls are 18 already. We all want to go party at Pleasure Island (Partying= dancing, meeting people, going to the comedy clubs and Adventurers, NOT DRINKING, NOT SMOKING, etc.), but 2 of us are not going to be legally old enough to get in. The truth is that there is no difference in maturity or age, except for in the eyes of the law, between the 2 of us who are not and the others, but that's besides the point. I would really love to get into PI and I hope that someone can give me the best way to do this--- would that be having a really good fake id, grabbing a couple and asking them to pose as my parent, changing the birthday on my id.... what should I do? Do they scan IDs or just look really carefully and test you for the information? Also, what are ideas for things to do in Disney at night for us, especially since we'd like to meet people, in case we can't get into PI. Thanks for anyone that is willing to listen and help :)

I'm not really sure

I remember reading that they're really strict about IDs at Disney, so maybe a fake one isn't the best route to go down.

I know they change the PI rule every 5 minutes, but I think you need to be 21 just to get in without an adult.

Good luck......Sorry I wasn't of more help :(

A fake ID would not be the way to go!
I copied this direct from the official WDW website - "Under 19 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Must be 21 to enter Mannequins and BET SoundStage™ Club. Valid photo ID required. "

You could explore the West Side at night, its neat there. I am sure there are plenty of other places too :) Have a great time!!

Hey guys, thanx for the advice.. any ideas of what 17 and 18 year olds can do @ night.... or good places to meet ppl (Especially members of the opposite sex lol)? THanks!

I've never been, but I heard the Boardwalk is nice. You need to be 21 to get into 2 of the clubs, but I think the rest of its ok.

I know there are loads of Boardwalk experts on the boards, so I'll leave them to fill you in on the rest of the details.

I agree with Jenn, Downtown Disney Westside's nice too

You might also want to try Universal Citywalk, I'm not sure if they have age limits (don't take that as the gospel though  ), or other places in Orlando, like the Mercado, or Church Street Station. WDW isn't exactly reknowned (sp?) for being a great place to meet the opposite sex.....

Hey, I definatly know that it can be rough when it comes to tryin to get into the clubs. Definatly do not fake it. If any regular club is already craking down on fake id's, Disney is definatly going to do it too. I thought that 18and up could get into any of the clubs except a few of the really good ones. If all else fails, hang by the pools at nite too. I'm sure that there are might be other groups of students for graduation around (schools might do the senior trip there). Go try a different resorts pool also. Late nite swims might bring em out. Have fun!!
