Ideas needed on how to tell the kids we're going...

I just booked the land/sea package for 1/9/05-1/16/05 as a Christmas present for my kids, myself and DH and our parents. What is a clever way to reveal that to them on Christmas morning? Are there captain Mickey hats available anywhere? Or a model of the Wonder? Any ideas would be appreciated.

A fun way we like to surprise our kids is with a treasure hunt throughout the house on Christmas morning. We will wrap up an empty box to look like a present and inside will be a piece of paper telling them they are going on a scavenger hunt for a wonderful present. It will offer a clue where to find the next box or envelope with another clue. We place these envelopes all over the house and the final envelope or mystery box reveals the present. We have great fun doing this. If your kids are too young to read, maybe you can offer picture clues.

We are doing the scavenger hunt thing too! At each spot they will get a baggie filled with 5 puzzle pieces. At the end,when they put the puzzle together, it is a picture of the Magic!!!

It is their Christmas present too!

For our 1/2/05 Wwonder, I'm going to wrap presents for the 3 kids with one letter in each box. After they open the presents, they will have to unscramble the letters to read Disney Cruise Jan 2nd.

Depending on old your kids are you can have a puzzle made telling them. Give them all but one major peice and have them put it together. Then send them on a scavenger hunt for the last piece. That should give you and DH a few minutes of fun!
