Just booked our stay for next Thanksgiving. We have 2 sets of grandparents in a 1 BR and 4 adults and 4 children in a 2 BR.

My question is, what have you done in the past for Thanksgiving dinner and what worked well? Not sure if we want to cook in, order a precooked meal or eat out? Of course we're aiming for our traditional turkey dinner :D

Thanks to anyone who can share their stories,

Take care,

Deb

My significant other and I had such a great time on our past Thanksgiving trip that we are thinking about making it a tradition. We spent a week at BWV. For dinner we had the earliest seating at Artists Point at the Wilderness Lodge. Very "rustic" and Thanksgivingy. The meal was SPECTACULAR. After dinner we strolled the grounds and took a VERY CHILLY boat trip to the MK to see the holiday decorations. First stop was to buy a sweatshirt on Main Street. After walking around the park we took the boat back to the lodge. We sat in front of the fire in the Iron Spike Room for about a half an hour and then drove back to the Boardwalk. It was a very memorable Thanksgiving. Just perfect.
