Ideas for something special

We're taking our girls ( 5 and 3) to WDW for the first time in October. I want to make this trip as magical as I can. I think I read that people have had something special in the hotel room waiting for the kids, etc. for an added touch. Any ideas??? Thanks!!

We called ahead and had Mickey ears put in the room for our daughters one year. They even left a signed picture of Mickey with it. You could go to disneyflorist.com and get a gift basket as well. Or, order a cake...check out the thread on the restaurant board.

Here are some more fun ideas for you:

* Pick up little trinkets and leave out every night,as if from Tinkerbell....sprinkle a little glitter around! Little things like, Disney stickers and tattoos, hair things, sunglasses/goggles, disposable cameras, small plush/polly pocket type princesses/characters (check out your local Disney Store for inspiration -- sometimes they have great sales), disney wallet/purse w/some Disney dollars in it, pins & lanyard for trading.

* If you have any character meals planned, create some invitations on your computer, as if from the characters you will be seeing. For example, on our last trip, a parchment scroll w/fancy font was delivered from Cinderella!

* Have you considered an appointment at the Bibbidy Bobbidi Boutique for makeover? Or try a walk in at the Main Street Barbershop for a glitter-do!

Sounds like you have a great trip coming up....don't forget to get them autograph books too!
