Hi guys

Just wanted some ideas on where we should eat while we are there this Dec
I work in the Travel industry so i get a really good rate for the hotel and of course I can not apply the Dining Plan. It is going to be five of us DH, DD13, DS7, my mother in law and myself. We will be there for 5 nights
We are not planning on doing a character meal this time. We have not been there since 02 so I know alot has happened since then. I know breakfast will be done in the room. We will be stay POR

What would your plans be for each theme park :grouphug: :grouphug:

maybe the girls could do afternoon tea while the guys did "guy things" how about the hoop-d-doo? that would be a lot of fun. could you give us a little more info as to what y'all would like to eat~table service counterservice, buffet, etc. thanks for the help so we can help you! :earboy2:

We are interested in maybe doing 1-2 sitdown meals We did Sci-Fi the last time we were there
I know that the guys would love a buffet I was thinking of Trails End
Counterservice would be good while at the parks
just dont know what is tasty now

We were just there and had some excellent food!!! I'll tell you what we liked-- After Animal Kingdom, we went to Boma's at AKL. It is buffet style African cuisine and it was awesome and something for everyone. My dd9 asked if they had ribs and the guy went back and made a whole plate just for her. Great food and a fun way to end AK.
- In Epcot, we had dinner at Teppanyaki's Japanese where they fix the food at your table--very fun. Then we went to Marakesh for dessert (we were worried that the kids wouldn't like Morrocan food). We had crepes-yum- and they had belly dancing which DH especially liked :smooth:
- we went back the next day for lunch and ate at the Tangerine Market (?) in Morrocco and it was delicious and reasonable as far as Disney goes with lots of food.
-we ate in DTD at Fulton's which was great seafood.
-we did a couple of character bfst. which one was OK and one was great. princess:
-The counter service that we did in MK was not impressive. pirate:
-At MGM we ate at Pizza Planet and wouldn't opt for that again. :p
- We have eaten at Drive-in in MGM before and it is expensive for fast-food like food, but the environment was fun.
Just my 2 cents ::MinnieMo

all i hear is good things about BOMA what are the chances of me getting priority seating for the first week of Dec

I am getting hungry already :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Goofy friends :wave2:
did you happen to have Dining plan
What is the average price pp

I'd say your chances are pretty good if you are flexible--it was a huge place. :goodvibes

We did not have a ding plan---wish we had gotten in on that good deal :confused3 !!! Our total bill was 85 dollars--don't remember the breakdown--it was a set price for adults and children. We had 2 adults and 3 children. Buffet style, so you could go back as much as you wanted adn my DH has to feel like he got his $$$ worth. It was a lot of food, but everything we tried was excellent. :earsboy: :earsgirl: ::MinnieMo ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo
