ideas for meal the first night?

we will be arriving mid-afternoon and staying at the Pop. I'd like to go to Whispering Canyon - but will that be a hassle getting from the Pop to there? Other ideas for the first nights meal/activity?

I have 6 kiddos ages 15 down to 1

I'm not sure about the hassle of getting there, I would think you could take a bus to MK and then take the boat to WL for WCC. That would be a fun first night.

We always do Chef Mickeys, gets us in the Disney mood with the characters and then we watch Wishes from the Observation deck there. However, I am interested in everyone else's plans. I would like to try something different, but my ocd son wants to do the same thing we always do.

We are doing Boma our first night and we are staying at POR. We will take a bus to AK and then get right back on a bus going to AKL.....no big deal, and Boma's food is worth the travel time any day!!!!!

We love going to WCC on our first night. It's not hard to get there from Pop. Basically you can take the MK bus and then the WL boat (a nice way to travel), but really you can jump on any theme park or DTD bus and then get off and get on the WL bus from there.

WCC is a hoot and gets us "in the mood" for a lot of fun!!
