Originally I wanted to copy the fabulous LurkyLoo's amazing Dessert party however they are no longer doing them at UK Pubside :(

So, I am looking for any and all ideas... and prices of course...for anything that you may have for us to do!!

Thanks ladies!!

Its a private 3 bedroom yacht that you can charter for dinner and the wishes fireworks cruise. You can read a little about it on the first page of my PJ. A LOT of other disney brides have used it/are using it for things such as rehersal dinners etc.

As long as your have 4 people or less they can do a sitdown dinner which is provided through private dining. They can pretty much provide any meal that you can dream of.

We had a great time - thats the only reason I recommend it.

Also, I wouldn't give up on that dessert party until you hear back from someone at Disney Catering and Convention Services. :thumbsup2

Other ideas:

- Around the World at Epcot Segway Tour or a backstage tour: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/tours.htm

- Dinner at California Grill During Wishes, maybe with a special cake? (The Cake Hotline number is 407-827-2253 and requires 48 hours notice.)

- IllumiNations Cruise: http://www.wdwinfo.com/recreation/fireworks.htm

Maybe i'm missing something but, what's the difference?? lolol sorry girls dont kill me!

The difference is the boats. Those are all pontoon boats. There is nothing wrong with them I was going to try to charter them for the night before our wedding cruise.

I know they also have some really cool boats over by epcot that are other than the pontoon ones. I just feel like wishes is so much more romantic than illuminations.

Here is an article about the grand 1.

If you want more info just ask - or google it - there are tons of things online about it.

I agree with you! However, it may come close to 600 and then i think id rather the illuminations dp! lol

Ill have to look more into the pontoon ones... I want to see wishes thats his favorite!

My other question is
what is the difference between:
The wishes celebration cruise and premium cruise??

thanks girls!

Is this a special thing?

We're having our "special" honeymoon dinner at CG. :lovestruc

It's part of their "What are you Celebrating" romance ideas...

...(available at signature restaurants) the three-course, prix fixe meals include individual appetizers, individual entree and a shared celebration dessert. Couples order from a specially-designed souvenir menu, and can toast their engagement with a select beverage in a souvenir toasting glass.

The only problem with this, is nobody knows which entrees they've put on the prix fixe menus. :confused3 Four entrees are chosen off the regular menu, and put on the prix fixe menu...i've spoken with several CM's with Disney Dining, because I want to try the one at the Yachtsman Steakhouse, but I know my DF would want the porterhouse, but no one knows if it's one of the choices on the special menu, and if it's not, if you can order it anyway.

I am in the midst of planning my 1st anniversary trip and I wanted to surprise my husband with a romantic dinner. I LOVED lurkyloo's dinner, but it was not in my budget. I planned a Sweetheart Dinner for 2 at Narcossee's at the GF. It's part of the What are you Celebrating? promotion. It only costs $150 for 2 people and includes an app, entree, dessert and toasting flutes. I have it planned for Easter, so I will report back on our experience. I also added a bottle of champagne of Fairy Tale Cuvee (what we had at our wedding) and a miniature replica of our wedding cake (used the Cake hotline for this - $40). I have the dinner timed so we can hopefully watch Wishes while we are eating our anniversary cake.

Wish me luck!
