My DH2B is having trouble coming up with ideas for a gift for his best man. We are getting very close to our wedding and so I thought I would come here for suggestions.

Thanks for any help!

If he is a golf player, he could treat him to a day at one of the golf courses on property! Good Luck! :)

We're running into the same problem. Since the bestman's birthday is close to the wedding, My fiance is thinking of getting his bestman an ipod (probably a nano - about $150.00) with something engraved on the back - and having it be a combined wedding/birthday gift. Not sure if we want to spend that much still though, we're pretty broke from paying for the wedding and honeymoon!

Goodluck on your search!

DH got our best man a nice dart board, and got a great deal on it because it was on clearance.

Hi Laura,

If it's getting too close to order the traditionally engraved gift items, what about some quality cigars or wine? Or maybe tickets to a sporting event that he likes...just a thought!

DH had best men, his 2 brothers. They're German, and our rehearsal dinner was at a German restaurant, so he gave them steins that they sold at the restaurant that were actually brought from Germany in the past month (owners visit often). The groomsmen got smaller ones. They were beautiful.

Thanks everyone for the great ideas. I'll pass them along to my DF.

Well I'm happy to share our gift ideas.
Were having a medieval wedding and all our groomsmen are going to be given swords to carry at the wedding.
So I think their a nifty gift and pretty unconventional.
Theres a site called BudK that has cheep Swords and the like.

We had a real hard time deciding. We finally decided upon sending him lobsters and fish chowder from Legal Seafoods in Boston. BM used to live in MA but now lives in San Diego and the lobsters are not nearly as good.
