I'm the "planner" for a family trip for around 35 people and 13 our my nieces, nephews and 2 DS's. I need ideas for little surprises for them each day. Rather I slip it under their door, hang it on their door or have it delivered to various areas. The ages range from 4-12....o.k. so my niece who is 21 STILL looks forward to her surprises from Mickey every time we travel to Disney with them. Here are some of the ideas I already have.

-Foam door hangers that say "Welcome to Disney World" and have their name on them.
-glow sticks for the parade (I will have these for them at the Character Dinner at Libery Tree Tavern, planning the electric parade right after the dinner).
-Glow ring pops for the Illuminations show.
-I found the Disney pencils and erasers at the Dollar Tree that everyone talked about.
-Stickers

I had an idea of decorating the little canvas bags that you see at the craft stores with their name and something Disney on them.

I would love any suggestions that you can offer. Thanks!

Bubbles (the mini bottles used at weddings)
Keychains
Small note pads
Candy that won't melt (Life Savers, Jolly Ranchers)
Mini Slinkies (can get them at Michael's)

I'd say whistles but that might be too much!

Have fun - I'm doing gift bags for our Disney cruise in Disney. Much older crowd, though.

I was going to say mickey pencils and stickers. Get packs of the disney gummies too, they have mickey, pooh, nemo. Check out toys r us for pez dispensers, I found them for $.68, the disney ones. The dollar tree had big suckers w/the mickey gang a while back. Now they have mickey shortbread cookies and pooh (I think it's pooh) graham snacks. you could buy one bag for each room. look for disney candy at walmart, they have mickey head suckers (I can't find them at mine, but a lot of other people have found them). How long will you be there? Do you want one thing for each day or what? The mini canvas bags are cute, but I'd fill it and give it to them one day instead. You can do the iron on things with their name and mickey or disney picture. For the kids on our trip, I did one gift bag filled with stuff, there were pencils, erasers, stickers, coloring books, notebooks, pez, suckers, mickey gummies, glow sticks, mickey night lights, and more.

You could also get the light up Mickey and Minnie pens that are $1 at Wal Mart, I also saw them at Big Lots for 99 cents. I also found Disney Journals at Dollar Tree, they are in Mickey, Pooh and Princess.

Wal-mart has the mini Light up personal fans for 1.50!

Thank you for all the ideas, i got lot of things to do for our trip, but we are taking notes of all the things here!

You guys can go to HOBBY LOBBY they got lots of cute stuff!

Thanks everyone for your great suggestions. We are going to be there for 10 days, but not all of the kids will be there that long. Some have to go home after 6 days :guilty: I plan on doing something for them every day. It doesn't have to be huge, just a little surprise them each day. I forgot about mini bubbles. One of the things that I just found was the Disney journal that you can print out. It asks the kids questions and they fill in the "favorites" for each park. I hope that the cookies and suckers will be around in Nov. I want to wait until we get closer to the time to get those. Thanks again! Keep the great ideas coming!
