Ideas for Cruise Christmas Gift

We are planning to give our Jan. 15th cruise to our daughter as part of her Christmas. Any ideas for "gift wrapping" this surprise?

Gift wrap the cruise DVD to show here where she is going and a copy of the CD "Beauty and the Beat" to get her "in the mood"


or preset the DVD on a computer have her do a scanvenger hunt for her present, the last clue has her go to the computer and press play

Bethanysmom.... Great minds think alike. We're on the same cruise and I had the same plan for keeping it a secret until Christmas. My daughter will be almost 8 at the time of the cruise... how old is Bethany?

Talk to someone on the boards and get some of the little shampoo/soap/lotion things you get in the bathroom...might make a stocking stuffer. Get the DVD from DCL. Make a basket or package of sunscreen, after sun lotion, lip protector, etc.

Snorkel equipment (rents for $25 or something ridiculous on CC, if you'll use it more than once, cheaper to buy.) Pirate gear?

Bethany is 8. It would be great for the girls to meet up early on and get to know each other. Bethany loves to make new friends and is very outgoing.
