:santa:ok so I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions that can help me out.:santa:

im wanting to try an bring a small christmas tree along for our trip since it will be dec17th-dec21st. I'm talking small as in table top due to our car will be jam packed with us and our stuff (gonna be a long 10 hours lol).

I've seen the santa mickey mailer tree and while i like it I'm not sure if 35$ plus shipping is in the budget right now (at least not for something so small even though i love it). while it would be perfect in size and theme i can't bring myself to buy

any ideas or know where to get small table trees that will look nice in our room to sorta christmas up the place?

If you're not looking for specifically Disney decorations, Home Depot carries table-top trees (some of them pre-lit) for $11 and up. I would try someplace like Michael's, too.
Have a great Christmas trip!

For a laugh you could always buy the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree! :)

Our family will be there from December 21st through the 27th.:woohoo: We'll be using our DVC points to share a three bedroom grand villa in SSR. Christmas is important for us because my DS was born 25 years ago that day.:santa: The kids and their families will be flying in from PA but my DW and I have decided to make the 18 hour trip by car stopping for two nights prior at Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort.

After check–in on the 21st, we’ll head to Walmart to do some grocery shopping and buy a cheap Christmas tree. I saw ones on their website for cheap enough that when it’s time for the DW and I to head back north we can just leave it behind and not pack it in the car.

That’s our plan anyway…:)

first of i hope y'all have a truly magical christmas and birthday celebration!!

and thats a good idea i may look at walmart and see if they have any cheap trees that won't take up much car space!

I think this youtube video is cute where they make Mickey head shaped ornaments. I've also made homemade cinnamon Mickey head shaped ornaments. I've also seen felt Mickey hand ornaments that are cute. I might have to do a Disney tree this year. You could use small plush Disney toys, too.

Walmart has really cheap prices on small trees which could be made to look really cute with some Disney touches.

You could have one shipped to a Walmart near WDW site to store or shipped to your resort.

Several years ago, we were at Pop until Christmas Day. I found a cute little 6" lit tree at Target. We were flying so I didn't want to take anything bigger. I would leave it on all night and use it as a nightlight. It was fun to wake up and see a little lit tree on the table. We also took Christmas Disney window clings to put on the front window and around the bathroom mirror.

I saw the kmart flyer had a disney spread. So should Target.

You can get disney stockings pretty cheep and maybe even a set a MM ornaments are like 22. OR you by them at the christmas shop by the castle!!!!

The day after xmas is also a great time to stock up on disney for the following and proceeding years. I know have second xmas tree, that is just disney... yah my wife has banned me from getting more!!!!! Looks like I may be getting coal in my stocking this year

look at hobby lobby for a small tree and if you download their app, there is ALWAYS a 40% off coupon for one regular priced item!

Ooooo good idea to take a small tree!! I'd just look around at target and walmart. I'm sure you'll see one:) I am planning to decorate too. It's such a fun time to do to WDW! We are planning to wrap ribbon and battery operated lights around our balcony and I'm making Christmas Mickey heads for the room:) fun!!
