I am making a goodie bag for a one year old and also for several other children. I do not want to take heavy things due to the limit of 50lbs on the flight. I have 2 squirt toys and a drinking type sippy cup with a soft squirt fish on the top.

For the older ones I have 11 pool/water balls, 12 small water gun and I found some of the suction cup basketball hoops with the foam balls that were left over from Easter for 50 cent a pc.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

We have a ds5 and 3 of his cousins joining us. 2 girls 6, 1 boy 9. We added goggles, disposable cameras, bubbles, glow bracelets. We're also doing the pillowcase thing for each child.

Our Dollar Tree had small Mickey/Minnie notebooks, nightlights(Mickey, Minnie, Nemo, Princesses), Pooh and Princess paddleballs. Walmart has Disney light up pens near checkout for $1. You can get packs of mini bubbles for sendoff-check out the Easter clearance for pastel colors. I got a bag full of pink/purple/turquoise ones at Target after Valentine's for .50

It seems like you have more kids going than us (4). Ours are younger also. I bought 4 pails/shovels from Christmas Tree Shoppe (addicting) and inflatable tubes. Part of our group lives in Kissimmee and she's bringing basket wrap (like for easter baskets) and we're going to pool all our goody bags, make them up in secret (another relative who's kids are adults) and have our steward deliver them. I figure I can' schlep lots of stuff down as long as it doesn't make a return trip. I think I'll buy some snack size non-chocolate candies such as skittles and twizzlers. I've read they are very popular in the theaters. Now if they could just make wrappers that were silent.....

A little plastic sail boat would be fun to float around in the ocean or around a sand castle. How about a cool pair of sunglasses or a fishing hat to keep the sun out of little eyes? You can buy solid color hats at craft stores or Oriental Trading then decorate/personalize them with fabric paint.

small inflatable beach balls. playing cards for the older children (if they are old enough). Should be able to find Mickey etc. These are good to keep the kids occupied during the waits at dinner. Crayola Color wonder markers & paper. These are the markers that are clear but turn color on the special paper (no mess!). They make a fingerpaint type also but I haven't tried that yet. As someone mentioned: disp. cameras (if old enough), esp disp. waterproof cameras for the beach, pool and underwater. Sand toys as mentioned (they are available on CC to purchase but are very expensive).

I finally hae a head count on the kids going. First let me say this is not a Disney cruise. So the Disney characters might do not go over too well with every child. LOL

Anthony will be 1
Koby is 8
Kora 10
Erik will be 12
MacKenize 13
Danielle 14
Another girl but I have forgotten her name is 17

We have tons of glow in the dark and blinkie things to give them. The girls will be leis.

I bought a little ballon rocket kit at Wal-mart for Koby today. I really like the idea of the sail boat. I might look for one at the dollar store here.

I did see some more squirt toys and tiny small water balls I am going to pick up tomorrow at the dollar store. I think I am fine now with the two boys.

I need to work more on the girls. I have not got hardly anything for the girls. I do have some flamigo pens from Oriental Trading Company will can give them.

For the 17 year old I am at a loss. I guess I will hunt for some playing cards for her. Maybe some cool note or stick it note pads. I have some lipgloss I could give her.

Please keep on helping me on ideas. I really need them badly expecailly for the 17 year old and even the 10 year old girl.

Princess gummies.......Pirates of the C gunnies........Nemo gummies........Sweedish fish........etc.....Pirate night stuff.....eye patches, earrings......ring pops...candy necklaces.......glow necklaces.......small photo albums.....combine all the ideas from this thread and pick and choose.......you'll have great goody bags......Have fun with it!!

This is not a Disney cruise. I did not want to do disney stuff.

If we were going on a disney cruise I would not have any problems.

How about some nice lotion (the kind with glitter?) or higher end sunblock. Banana Boat has one called Suntanicals which has a really nice smell. Also, magazines like Teen People and some mints or gum? I'd say a 17 year old boy but you'd need a big basket!

Hope that helps!

I spoke with their grandmother earlier. She told me anything I gave them they would like! I wanted to put a few things in thier bags they could enjoy while on the cruise. i suggested some glitter rhinestong body tattooes. OTC has them cheap. I actually have a few left I can use. I have until November to do this but heck I hate to wait until the last minute on anything. LOL

For the 17 yr old: teen magazines, sunglasses, waterproof camera (about $8), sun tan lotion, body glitter (the subtle shimmer kind is nice), hair accessories, beach bag.

For the 10 year old: if she's a mature 10 similar stuff to the 17 year old. If not, I'd skip the body glitter and go with lip gloss, hair accessories, travel size games, glow necklaces and those candy braclet/necklaces. Waterproof camera would still be good for this age.

Since you have until Nov. you can wait until the end of season when you can pick up a couple of these items cheap cheap cheap.

For Easter I got my DNiece (12) items for upcoming WDW trip: Sunglasses, a terry bathing suit cover up (Target), waterproof camera, (for Poly pool area) teen magazines (for flight and down time), and candy. I've also recently got her subtle makeup (lip gloss is non-offensive to most parents). She won't wear flip flops or I would have gotten those to go with my beach theme.

Good luck!

I did pick up some really cheap toys after Easter. They are not per say Easter toys but had an Easter theam on them. I got them for 50 cents a piecce.

Please everyone I am truly loving the responces and would like to continue to hear what you have to suggest.

Ok now my list of kids to buy for has grown to include two 17 year of boys from Scotland. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I think you just found the pefect gift for the 17 yr old girl. :rotfl2: (Assuming they aren't related, of course). :lmao:

For the boys: sports/music magazines, waterproof camera as well; cards (and perhaps some poker chips); hacky sak.
