ideas for a day with out kids(anniversary)

We celebrated our 10 yr anniversary in june but had a 2 week old baby so we didn't get to celebrate much. So when we are in Disney World May, we wanted to do something special together as our early 11 year/late 10 yr celebration. My 20 YO niece will be with the kids, so we can go out. I was thinking Epcot, since kids are young for it but any great ideas? TIA

You could have a fancy dinner, there's lots of choices where kids aren't. Victoria and Albert's at the Grand Floridian comes to mind. You could do a Disney fireworks cruise and order a cake and have a little anniversary. I did that and it wasn't too overpriced and fun. We had our own boat and the driver gave us little tidbits as we took us around on the water. The cake was yummy and we were able to take the leftovers with us. There also was a banner on the back of the boat that said Happy Anniversary. As far as parks to visit, I think that's a personal choice since there's always something for kids no matter where you go. If you like Epcot, you could take a leisurely walk through all the countries. There's an excellent Japanese steak house called Teppan Edo in Japan that you might like as well, or Le Cellier in Canada which is fantastic too..

thanks, I ll look into those ideas. I know there are things for the kids to enjoy in Epcot, but since they will be 3 1/2 and 11 months, we can leisurely do many things WE want to enjoy, with out them and they can enjoy the pool and rest a day mid week. We would do fun things in morning with them , then do some couple time later day and evening.

My DH & I are going to try Shula's at the Dolphin for our "Date Night" My DH is a big Football fan and Steak Lover. Before dinner we are going to do a little touring of Epcot and then take the boat from the International Gateway over to the Dolphin.

My DH is STILL talking about our special dinner at V&A's and that was almost 8 yrs ago! LOL Pricey, but obviously memorable. One of our most special and romantic evenings...who knew what food and good service could do? ;-)
