I am looking for recommendations for a Disney Springs restaurant for me and DH. Here is some pertinent information:
1) I am allergic to shellfish.
2) My DH loves Asian food, but we will already be booking a few Asian restaurants.
3) We don't drink alcohol.
4) We love places with a fun, themed atmosphere and are less comfortable in formal settings.

Any ideas?

Until the new restaurants open, I would say Raglan Road is your best bet. It's nice and casual and the focus is not on seafood. However, it does have a somewhat pub feel and I realize that you don't drink so it depends how comfortable you are with that. Sounds like morimoto is out because it's Asian and boathouse is out because of your seafood allergy. The food at splitsville has been getting really good reviews. Maybe dinner and a few games of bowling?

Boathouse doesn't have just seafood. One can sit well away from the raw bar. I wouldn't avoid it because of a seafood allergy, so long as the only issue is actually ingesting shellfish.

We ate at the Boathouse for lunch earlier this month and it was rated thumbs up by all five members of our group!

Yes, Boathouse is one consideration. The House of Blues has a yummy looking menu and good reviews.

I wonder if Edison will be open by November. I have no idea if the food will be good, but the atmosphere sounds like fun.

A few thoughts:

1.) Bongo's is not seafood focused and the place has a 'fun' vibe.

Dinner +Plus:
2.) Food at Splitsville is better than you'd expect, and you can go bowling too.

3.) House of Blues often has live music (sometimes paid indoor performances & often free outdoors), and the food is fine.

4.) Cirque de Soleil is a 'date night' place and can be enjoyed either before or after dinner.

And if you're not limited to [Downtown] Disney Springs:

a.) Any Signature at Swan & Dolphin (Shula's & Il Mulino are not seafood focused).

b.) The two 'Signatures' inside Four Seasons are likely very good (I've yet to go), one of the places, Capa, is 14 floors up.

Here's my 2 cents worth :D

T-Rex and Rainforest are very themed, fun and super casual, food is typical pub grub, and service for us has been good. DH and I enjoying going there it a great way to relax and chill out for a while.

You could do Dinner and a Movie at AMC dine in movie, or dinner and Bowling at Spiltsville.

Bongo's - for us once was enough and never again. Terrible service and meal.. enough said

Raglan Road - Fun and themed, Irish band and dancers, food is great, and well as service. Lots of options.

Portobello Country Italian - We love having dinner here, food and service really good, casual, we prefer a later sitting here( 8:00 or after) prime time was complete chaos. Lots of families trying to get in to have dinner then rushing out to get to the parks or wherever to see the fireworks.

There are performers through out Disney Springs so lots of entertainment options, World of Disney and lots of interesting shops to poke your head in and look around, you could stroll around, enjoy the atmosphere, grab some food at the food truck or at Wolfgang Pucks express its a QS but the food is really good and not your typical QS offerings, and super casual. Then finish the night with dessert from Ghirardelli.
