Idea for stroller safety

My husband goes skiing a lot, and he used a retractable lock for his skis. It is perfect for locking the wheels on a stroller, and it is small and the cord retracts into the case, and it is only about the size of the palm of your hand. Perfect!

We are bringing ours with us to lock the wheels of our strollers if we feel the need to.

Very small, and convenient! Just a thought!

Here is a link to one kind:

Just remember that you're not allowed to lock the stroller to anything at the parks...

Cool looking locks, and very compact! Thanks for the links!

I tried using a bike lock on our first trip (just between the wheels/not hooked to anything) and it was more trouble than it was worth. I did it once and then did not bother anymore.

This looks a little less bulky though. But I guess you still have to thread it through the wheels.

I told my stroller to NEVER talk to strangers. So far, so good...

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:
My stroller is to young (brand new) to understand. I'm afraid it wouldn't listen to me.

I LIKE those locks! I have a bike cable and it was a pain to use (it curls up pretty tight, so it's hard to uncurl to use) but we used it anyway. This looks like it might be easier to use. Thanks for sharing!

be aware that if the CM's have to move it which they will almost guaranteed! if the wheels are locked they will drag it to move it.

by the time my newborn strollers (2 you understand) learn how to get along
(stroll nicely while linked together),

sleep in their new beds(those wonderful Walmart gate check bags we just recieved!),

and learn to carry their own weight plus much more (at a combined weight of only 17+/- pounds before children {combined weight of 60+ lbs.}, soft sided cooler for drinks, snacks, demi milan organizer and all those couldn't resist souvies) they will be the best trained strollers in the park (wonder if they could work on my 2 preschoolers?!)

oh and forgot, they should be totally proficient at crossing the street while looking both ways by the time our trip is complete! (please stand clear of the doors. . take small children by the hand. . .)

PS gonna live dangerously, not locking altho I have to keep repeating to myself, it is only a stroller, it is only a stroller, it is only a stroller. and pray for the best. Yikes! The strollers themselves and the accompaning toddlers are enough for me to deal with , if I locked them, I'd drive my DH insane (we rarely even use a stroller when he is with us but Disney is the exception!
