Idea for Movie based on ABC's V

To avoid confusion, this is just an idea of mine of how ABC's V could be revived. As you might have heard, ABC announced in May that it has decided to cancel its V television series permenantly even though it was set for a third season. This leaves many questions left unanswered for those who saw the finale of the second season as to whether or not the main protagonists ever defeat the Visitor aliens from enslaving Earth. Even though ABC has tossed out V, it could be brought back in the form of a motion picture. For example, a space western television series called Firefly aired for 1 season before being canceled. Several years later, a movie titled Serenity was created picking up where the series left off. Likewise, there can be a movie for V taking place after the events of the last episode. I think this is a great idea because V already has the potential to continue and it would be best for those who watched it to know what happens in the end (not to mention the originial version of the show that only presents a general idea of the outcome).

I was a huge fan of both the original and the most recent series. Personally I would love for another network to offer and pick it up. I can think of a couple that it would be a very good fit for.

Such a shame it was cancelled, It's hard when networks close shows without giving loyal fans closure.
