Wouldn't it be cool if they had a villain's breakfast in Le Cellier? They could call it the Villain's Dungeon Breakfast. It would be the perfect counterpoint to the Storybook Princess Breakfast.

They use to have a Villians meal at the Grand Floridian but they cancelled it, I think last year or so. Not sure why maybe someone else can fill you in.

we loved the villians dinner and would love to see another character meal w/them. i **think**the reason why it was closed was too many children were frightened. but who knows!? this would be a great meal for older children and up. but i will say there were younger children that were really having a great time.

I asked my kids, and they gave a villians meal thumbs down. I think many kids don't want to eat with the villians and not enough adults do. The law of supply and demand rules. There's more demand for the "good guys".

My 4 dd has already asked me if the witch from SW would show up at the SBP b-fast, because she does NOT want to see her.

I agree with disney queen....we're going down in 2004 with a bunch of teenagers AND young children. I know the teens are not completely thrilled with only seeing the sweet, nice characters and would have a blast seeing the villains...especially for Halloween!!!

Okay....ME TOO!

Let's hear it for the villans. As the magic mirror says, without them you get, "Once upon a time, they lived happily ever after."

We had DD in Disneyland at age 4 for a character breakfast. She was fine until Captain Hook walked out. She ran and hugged him, telling him "Captain Hook, you are my favorite!"

I assume the CM could only think, poor misguided child!

DD will be 18 in 80 days, and I think she and I would much prefer a villians dinner any day.

Oops, how about spelling everything correctly this time.

I agree. I would love to see it come back. The Villains Dinner was stopped just before we went last year. Major disappointment on my part. My dd9 would love it too. Dare we hope that it may come back?? Naw. Probably not.:( :( :(

In response to the comment by Travelitis regarding the law of supply and demand, you should know that this dinner had no problems selling, was VERY popular with people on this board, and many people here (including me) were upset when it was cancelled.

It was NOT cancelled for lack of demand.

We attended the Villian's dinner in 1999 and it was the least enjoyable part of the trip. Our waiter was very un-excited, downright unattentive. The food was boring (unlike the Crystal Palace). And truthfully, my boys didn't know or care about most of the "villians" they saw. We thought it would be a boyish thing to do, but they were not impressed.

Emily's Dad, if it was more popular than the characters they have now, I wonder that they would stop offering it. Disney doesn't just put an end to a profitable venture unless they have more profitable plan. I reiterate that there are more children and adults who prefer "good guy" characters. Here's a case in point. The demand for CRT is ridiculous, so they start offering SBP which starts selling out, too. They could offer and sell out other princess b-fasts. I don't believe for a second the villians had that kind of appeal. If they did, it'd still be offered. Disney's bottom line is profit, but perhaps they got more than the normal amount of complaints. As much as I love these boards, they do represent a tiny cross-section of Disney patrons.

I didn't even know there was a Villain meal until after it was taken away. I feel like I've missed out, and would love to eat with them! And Le Cellier would be a perfect location for it! Grand Floridian just doesn't say "villain" to me, especially because you can see Mary Poppins that morning for breakfast.

And, don't quote me on this, but I think I remember hearing that Disney was thinking about bringing this back. I'm not sure if that's true, but I sure would be happy if it was!
