ID Question

Hi we will be taking our first cruise in october , as we are from the uk we will have passports but these will be taken off us on board and not returned to us until the last day, i understand that you need id everytime you get on and off the ship in port including castaway cay, what should we take aswell , most people in the uk don't have photo drivers licences yet so any other suggestions?

Does any place over there make photo identification cards.

If you haven't got a photo drivers licence, Tracie. A copy of the photo page of your passport will be delivered to your stateroom on the first evening of your cruise (if it doesn't arrive, as ours didn't, just go to Guest Services and ask). We never had any problems getting on or off the ship with this.

Thanks Dianne and Webray , i've also mailed dcl for confirmation but i'll copy our photo page too and take along paper drivers licence.
