I'd like to treat my DD and her best friend for their sweet 16, where do I start?

So DD will be Sweet 16 next June and her BFF in January. I would like to do a Mom and daughter sweet 16 for them in March of 2011, as they are both huge HP fans. I have not been to US/IOA since DD was 5 so I do not know where to begin with my planning and what things I should add to make this super special. My loose planning has three nights (might be able to do 4) over a weekend--I do not them to miss too much school but a day or two is no big deal. We want to stay on sight, we'd like to keep it around $2000 total before transportation.

If you plan to stay onsite, definitely start there. All three hotels are fabulous but pick out the one that you think everyone would like best.

Then get passes. You can read what's available on the Universal website and tailor it to fit your needs. You could watch for discounts because there's really no hurry getting passes.

Then that's really it or at least that's all we do.
