Does anyone know where I can get id bracelets for kids and what info do you put on yours? I was thinking just first name and my cell #. Also, does anyone know where I can get a stroller cover for rain for a double stroller? It's the long one.. thanks!

I put

mom: phone
Dad: phone

So that no one can say, "hey, I know your mom Jane" if they look at it. I remind my child to find a mommy with kids if he gets lost, and show them the bracelet.

I don
t know if this is an option for you, but I bought the safety tattoos off amazon for our September trip. They lasted all week and I was able to put my cell phone number on it. I put it the lower back, so it wasn't out in the open, but my girls knew where it was located in case we were seperated.

We used these on our twin grandsons when they were 2 1/2 and then again when they were almost 3. They lasted for a week (follow directions to make sure they stick) and the boys loved them. We applied them to the inside of their forearm and only put gma's # and gpa's # on them. We also taught the boys that if we got lost that they were to find a 'worker', we actually went up to a couple of them the first day in the parks and talked to the boys about what they were to do. The cm's loved it and helped in the learning process.

I have a dog tag I got in the pet section at Walmart for $6 that has our phone numbers and his name that I'll put on his shoes. Though the safety tats look pretty good and I might go with one of those instead.

I have used the vital ID for my 2. They make a toddler version and a version for an older child.

My older child wears the one the previous poster linked. The information is on a piece of paper tucked inside the bracelet and I taught my daughter to go to a CM inside a store to show them the paper inside.

My son had one that said, "If I'm lost, check..." And my number was on it.

I think I'm going to do a shoe tag this trip since we'll have the magic bands. So my son won't have to deal with having something on both wrists.

My daughter is 10 now and last trip she kept the number in her pocket or the purse on the end of her lanyard.

When we went last year, I got my 2 year old one of those colored silicone wristbands (like schools and events hand out as giveaways with words embossed on them). I found a website: shanrene.com where you can make custom ones. And you can make just one or 1000! I made one with my cell phone number on it. Cost for one was $2.99. It was too big for his wrist so he wore it around his ankle and he never noticed it was there.
