Ice Skating in front on Hotel New York?

I found the website and the pricing , but it does not say how long you can skate for? Has anyone been before?


And more importantly, can it be done if the weather is not so awesome? thanks.

Can't answer your question I'm afraid, it was supposed to be open when we were out their last week, but was not iced and only Roller boots were out on it

Its not actual ice skating. It's a synthetic surface using roller blades. I saw it being used once this week by a few kids

It is normally a synthetic type surface, but they do usually use ice skates not roller blades, unless I'm very much mistaken, I have watched them plenty of times quite closely and I'm certain they use Ice skates normally.

They are rollerblades now - bizzare I know but I took pics few weeks back to show a friend as we thought it was hilarious

I thought it was Rollerblades in the summer and ice skates in the Christmas / winter season. It was ice skates in March.

Their is definitely a crossover point from Rollerblades to Ice Skates at some point just not yet it seems

Neither of those sound very fun when one wants to go 'ice skating'...it's not called synthetic blading...
