ice rink in Downtown Disney ?

We are planning a trip in December and my husband saw a youtube video showing the ice rink in Downtown Disney. It looked like there was a show with Tinkerbell and Periwinkle but I can't find any information if there is actually a show or not? My daughter (4) LOVES that movie and it would make her trip if there was a show.

I don't know if they will do it again this year? I thought it was special for Secret of the Wings last year. As for shows, there were skaters that put on little routines from time to time.

I think that last year the ice rink was part of a marketing ploy to advertise the tinkerbell movie because it was new at that time. I dont believe there was a show. It was part of the winter market offering and you could rent skates and skate there for a fee. Hopefully someone can elaborate on this since im not 100% sure.

I am wondering if they may do the ice rink again this year. It would fit in very well with the new movie Frozen.

My mom took 2 of my boys last year and they really had a great time. It was pricey but they loved it. They are really hoping it will be there again, but I am not holding my breath.

I believe it was operated by an outside vendor, which makes it unlikely there was a scheduled show.
