I'm back with more questions

Is the ice rink at HNY operational in November? And slightly off topic, are the hot breakfasts the same options as DLH (I'm a sucker for my cooked breakfasts when on holiday )

It should be operational in November, it was all year last year as they had a synthetic rink but this year I think they have gone back to the conventional rink.

Haven't stayed at the HNY since the cooked breakfast was part of the buffet but its my understanding that it is mainly like the DLH with the exception you don't get pancakes at the HNY

Ice rink has been there every November I've been there (and that's a lot...). Don't know about the HNY breakfast, it'll be my first time staying there this year too!

HNY breakfast is similar to DLH, but no pancakes I'm sure there are some other differences, but I can't think what at the moment.

Large selection of continental style, cereals, rolls, croissants, pan au chocolat, nutella items, yoghurt, fruit, toast, cold meats, cheese, fruit juice, tea, coffee. Hot items were bacon, sausages, scrambled egg, potato fries. Here's a sample from my plate a few weeks ago:

Fab news about the ice rink, I hadn't thought of that but I bet it would be lovely for a Christmas season trip! The breakfast looks pretty good too, although I'm not sure I could face potatoes for breakfast

Can't comment about the ice rink.

But HNY breakfast is a much poorer selection than DLH. In both hot and cold options.

They have bacon eggs sausages and potato hot and then normal continental stuff too. Perfectly fine for an included breakfast. But we were disappointed as we love the DLH breakfast.

I bet the ice rink is a fab addition and I hope to have skate there one day!
