Ice cream with peanut allergy

Are there any places within the parks that sell ice cream deemed safe for peanut allergies? Whether it be prepackaged or not.

I am not sure about the prepackaged stuff....and as for regular ice cream parlor stuff, I just mostly worry about the chance of cross contamination, from using the same scoop in different flavor of ice cream.

Anyone have any experience or knowledge about this?

I've heard of others having success requesting a clean scoop be used on a new container in back. No personal experience, just what I've heard

I believe Ghiradelli is completely peanut free. I also think I remember hearing about the France ice cream shop now being peanut free.

when i could still have milk products, i would get ice cream cones (well, in a cup) while at WDW. At the time I was anaphylactic to peanuts, tree nuts, and seafood and could not have artificial sweeteners due to a severe adverse reaction.

I would explain to the order-taker that I have food allergies. They would get a supervisor/manager (as they do at any other QS) who would come out, ask my allergies, take my order, and then go into the back and use a fresh scoop on a fresh container of ice cream [as they explained to me] to get me my ice cream.

Now with milk added to the list my option is DOLE WHIP

Most TS have a safe vanilla cup. We are almost always offered it. We do soft serve vanilla most places after asking for the ingredients. We mostly avoid the places with scoop ice cream though many will open a new bucket of a safe flavor and use a clean scoop etc. We have done this a couple time and been ok.

We have been able to get peanut-safe ice cream at the Plaza Restaurant and the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor in MK, and at Hollywood Scoops in DHS.
We've also been able to get vanilla ice cream at Sc-Fi Dine-In.

Outside of the parks, Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club will also serve peanut-safe ice cream. At each of these locations, a new container was opened in the back to avoid cross contamination.
