Ice cream social?

Any one done this? Is it fun? Details please..Just booked it but have no idea what it is except icecream... I did read Mickey is there. Anyone else? Thanks!

We had a great time last May. Here's an excerpt from our trip report:

For those wondering about the ice cream social, we thought the food and the character interaction was great. DD (3 1/2) got lots of 1 on 1 time with each one. Mickey, Chip and Dale each actually sat down and played with her for a few minutes. Pluto made an appearance just before we were leaving. We took our time enjoying our treats as no one rushed us out. Here’s what we got for about $25 including tip:

2 adult ice cream treats – 1 large chocolate chip cookie “glued” to plate with melted chocolate topped with a large waffle cone filled with good vanilla bean ice cream; rolled vanilla/chocolate cookie and wedge of chocolate stuck into ice cream.

1 kid’s ice cream treat – large chocolate chip cookie “glued” to plate with melted chocolate and topped with large scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on which sat a chocolate dipped ice cream cone hat to resemble a clown. The clown’s face was done with candy pieces.

2 large glasses of ice water (free)

1 kids souvenir cup with ice water (free)

WOW! What a great deal! I thought it would just be Mickey but that is wonderful if we get to see more! thanks so much! I am very excited now! Did you find it was crowded?
