Ibotta?

Has anyone used this? I don't really understand what it is. Did I read that they have access to all texts, etc. too if you sign up?

I use it and I love it! I have made about $15.00 so far. It is very easy. Not sure about them have access to text messages. I did not see that part. As far as how to use it, just click on the items that you are going to buy and watch a short video or take a poll and then they add that to your account. Once you buy that product just take a picture of the bar code and the recipet and they will check that it matches. Once it does they will add the money to your account and I think you can cash out once you hit $5.00. That easy. They also walk you though the steps.

I've had this app for awhile and finally used it for the first time this weekend. Need to buy some sprite. It was on sale already but I did the things required, added them to my pending, bought it, took a picture of the receipt and was credited $0.75 to my account in like 2 minutes.

I won't be using it a lot and only on things I was going to buy anyway, but for me it's another great way to get some more money back.

Curious if anyone else has any info on this app. I just downloaded it and i cant figure out where to find my total earnings. It says pending 0.00. I should have $2. Do i need to establish the paypal accnt to see?

I think that you do - I was trying to check my balance and once I signed into my paypal, I could see how much I had from Ibotta, and did I want to transfer. The only issue I've been having is when I shop a lot at the grocery store or at Target and have a long receipt. When I have a short receipt it's no issue, but every time I've had a long one where I've had to take pics of multiple segments, it never seems to work the first time. I also had an issue where after the 2nd time I loaded my receipt, one of the items didn't show up when I got my cash back. I emailed right away and within a day they had fixed it and adjusted my account. I think now I'm up to over $8 - like PP said - it's more Disney money!

You only have your earnings in paypal when you choose to transfer them. If you have an iphone, to check your earnings go to the button on the top left. The = , with an extra line. Click on that, then it will show you options. If you click on the $ Withdraw cash, it will show you your balance.

i just started using it and i am in love with it! if you count the money i am earning as cash back, i am essentially getting food for free

my understanding pending is what you have in tasks that you have completed, not your total earned. click on the icon on the top left and you get a menu list, there is another place to check what you have officially earned.

where you make $$$ is when they give you bonuses. so i bought an item at target and it said i would get $1 bonus if i made another target purchase the next day. i was at my foodstore which is in the same parking lot as another target, so i popped in to get raspberries. they were on sale for $2.99, i got a target mobile coupon for $1 off, they had .50 back on ibotta and then they gave me $1 bonus. so .49. i also had a bonus that day for something frozen at target. that was $2. so i did a task for frozen veggies, and got a total of $2.50 from them for an item of $1.99!

right now there is still evol products on there, you may still be able to find coupons for the items (check target.com that is where i got my evol coupons). i know i also saw online somewhere a printable lysol wipe coupon and i got a brawny coupon recently out of an insert. eggland's best is on there which they put coupons in inserts a lot and they have long expiration dates so i am just waiting to see if i can find a sale to stack with. newman's own i was also able to find an online printable coupon, so again i am just waiting for a sale on that one. essentially it is another coupon to stack, but you get it back as money into your paypal account. i dont have one so i need to set it up.

i am still mastering how to use it but am happy to give tips. i also had a first time at first but it got easier to find coupons to stack to make it more worthwhile. if you have any questions let me know. they only problem is i sent a referal link to someone so i could get $5 and she could get $5. it never registered this was also my next target bonus so i'm now stuck until i convince another friend to sign up. that is my only beef, i hate reward programs that make a big push for you to refer instead of letting it just be an extra bonus by itself.
